Shannon Davis is singer-songwriter from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Her debut album “Tell Me a Story”, produced by musician and Grammy nominated producer, Jon Evans, was released October 2023. Shannon’s lyricism is vivid and scene-setting, like looking out over the marsh on a stormy day, lighting a candle in a cabin in the woods, or gazing out over a choppy sea. Her voice and unique guitar riffs have a rare versatility to both set the atmosphere of a room and command it.
Shannon has performed at Club Passim in Boston MA, The Cave in Cohasset MA, Bridgewater Music Alley in Bridgewater MA, The Payomet in Truro MA, and Cape Cinema in Dennis, MA, which has hosted acts such as St. Vincent, Bon Iver and others. In 2020, Shannon won the New England Songwriting Contest Judges Choice Grand Prize for her song, “When We Were Kids”, which can be heard on the 2021 EP, “May You Always See a Light”.
